International Speaker, Author and Life Strategist
Born Aen Hussein Eleryan in Egypt, she survived the 1967 Arab-Israeli War. Despite, or possibly because of, the trauma and the nightmares that this triggered, it was to later become the source of clarity of purpose in her life.
Arriving in England with her family 2 years later to start a new life, she struggled to integrate her Arab Moslem upbringing and British life. She felt split in half, the odd person out, neither British nor Arab, or totally Moslem. She struggled at school and University to reach her potential and left University with no qualifications.
She fell into working life and after training, found solace in being a good financial adviser and earning a good income, on the basis that they would both be good grounding for eventually running her own business.
Years later and after having her son, Aen felt it was time for a change. She worked in the enterprise software industry and in management consulting, responsible for bringing in new major projects and managing key relationships, till her son went to University. Now it was her time to find her true path and be her true self. Read her story to find what happened next.
